1) Get rid of processed foods

If you have junk foods or processed foods in your kitchen, you will not be able to resist the temptation. Get to your kitchen right now and get rid of them now. You have to be fully committed to losing weight. Putting half hearted effort will not help you to achieve great results.

Here are the foods that you should get rid of

1) Potato chips

2) Frozen fries

3) Hashbrowns

4) Milk Chocolates

5) Sweet

6) Soda and sugary drinks

7) Pasta

8) Bread

9) Rice

Some of the foods in the list may come shocking to you. Some obvious choices are candies and chocolates. These are foods that are filled with sugar and calories. Consuming them can easily lead to weight gain.

Foods like pasta, noodles, white bread or rice are foods that you eat regularly. However, they are also one of the main causes of weight gain. These highly processed foods can cause your blood sugar level to spike and crash afterward. You will suffer from frequent hunger pangs and cravings due to the volatile fluctuations of sugar level in your blood and this will cause you to eat more.

2) Replace these foods with healthier alternatives

Instead of snacking on chocolates or candies, try eating fruits instead. Fruits have natural sugar content and are filled with nutrients that are good for our body. You tend to eat less when you start eating more fruits because they are high in water percentage.

Eat more meat and replace your processed carbohydrates such as white rice and pasta with complex carbohydrates like vegetables and fruits. When you start to replace your processed food (rice and pasta) with vegetables (complex carbohydrates), you will start to lose weight fast.

If you find it hard to resist processed carbohydrates, try replacing them with brown rice or whole grain bread and pasta. They contain much more fiber and make your body works harder to digest it. This will help to keep you satisfied for a longer period.

3) Have protein in every meal

You need protein to help you build muscles that can help to boost your metabolism rate. Ladies shun away from the topic of eating protein to build muscles. However, it is needed to help you lose weight and you don't have to worry about gaining too much muscle mass. It is hard for guys to gain muscle mass who have a higher testosterone level than the ladies.

Protein can help you to feel more satisfied for a longer period of time and your body needs more energy to digest protein as compared to other food types. This will help to increase your metabolism rate that can help you to burn more calories and lose weight while you are doing nothing. Some protein sources include fish, eggs, chicken and beef.

4) 5 - 6 meals a day

You need to eat regularly and it is ideal to eat small meals in every 3 hours. It aids in digestion and keep your metabolism rate high. Keep in mind to eat protein of your palm size and complex carbohydrate about the size of your fist. It may be hard for you to prepare 5 meals a day and one way you can go about is to consume protein bars or meal replacement shakes instead.
