The Corner Hotel in Richmond is a haven for music and beer lovers alike
. While multiple bars and a great live music room there is always something happening at this great spot. The Front Bar is your classic pub style bar, including the couches and pool table (free use on Tuesdays) reminiscent of the good old days. The Front Bar is open Tuesday through to Sunday, complete with ample bar menu for all those wanting a snack with their beer, varying from local niche brands to imported beers and larger scale Australian labels. Then there's the Rooftop Bar, which is a favourite with the locals throughout the summer period. Meals are available, along with all the great drinks you'd expect from a place like the Corner. On top of having two great bars, the Corner also has a fantastic live music room. The Corner has become famous for hosting famous and up-ad-coming international and local acts, all at surprisingly reasonable prices - but you have to get in fast, as being a small venue, shows and tickets are quite limited. The music room hosts two bars to ensure you never have to wait in line for drinks, and allows you to come and go within the entire venue as you please. This means you can come early and if you're not a fan of the opening acts for the night, you can either head into the Front Bar or Rooftop Bar to enjoy a few beverages before heading back down to the music room to listen to the headlining acts for the night.
