Chinese Tourists Became The No. 1 Luxury Products Buyer

According to the British Daily Mail report on Dec

. 28, the wealthy Chinese tourists are expected to spend one billion pounds during the promotion sale in UK.

As the big spending power of Chinese tourists, the British media has created a new term of Beijing pounds with the base of pound, to explain the pounds that Chinese have spent. Mello said that Chinas rapid economic growth has attracted the highly attention from the luxury industry. However, due to the high tax rates of imported goods, the prices of the luxury products are 20-30% higher than the original countries. In the past 2 years, the British pound against the RMB exchange rate fallen by 30%, and this raised the Chinese customers shopping desire.
