. Children love to celebrate with parties. Small things make them happy and they enjoy it like anything. It is said that children find everything in nothing; men find nothing in everything. Children always like to feel special so parents always try to make everyday special for them. Although every day is special for children but there is one day which is specially meant for children and that is childrens day which is celebrated on 14th November.In Hindi children day is known as "Bal Diwas". It is celebrated on Jawahar Lal Nehrus birthday as a day of fun and a celebration of childhood. Nehru ji used to love children very immensely. He was born on 14 November 1889 and was a kind hearted person who was loved by everyone. He was fondly called Chacha Nehru or uncle Nehru by the children and he was very fond of two things one was children and the other one was roses. In fact he used to say that children were like the rose buds in a garden. They should be cautiously and lovingly raised, because they were the future of the nation and the citizens of tomorrow. According to him children are the real strength of a country and the very base of society. He was the "beloved" of all the children who gave him the charming name of "Chacha Nehru".
His birthday is celebrated as a tribute to this renowned man and it is celebrated all over India as a childrens day. Many schools organize cultural programmes for that particular day, with the students managing it all. Various cultural, social, and even corporate, institutions conduct competitions for children in all over the world. Schools also celebrate this day by organizing cultural programmes. Teachers of the school perform songs and dances for their students just to make them feel special. Hence, children's Day is special and it is a day which is celebrated to reminiscence Pandit Nehru and his love for children. This day is also celebrated to honor children. Parents often feel about the future of the kids and they worry about what a child will become tomorrow but they are deprived from the fact that that they are someone today.
They should groom their present instead for worrying for future. For instance, when a plant is nurtured properly from its young age then it becomes capable of producing sweet fruits when they grow big. Similarly child also should be given good upbringing so that their future will be secured. Children are God's gift! And childhood is all about innocence, liveliness and it is all about happiness and freedom. The main motive of this celebration is to impart the child the knowledge and freedom to enjoy, so that they can grow into healthy and educated citizens of the country. It is celebrated in school by performing lots of activities like they organize various events and at the same time children learn from it. These activities are performed in a dramatic way so that it can be implemented by the children without difficulty, apart from having a strong and transparent message.
