So, if you are a religious person then it is better to avoid the days. A weekday wedding is best for those who have invited local guests and they do not have to travel a lot. You can also get discounts on weekdays than on weekends. Availability of the top locations and vendors in your local area is also better on weekdays.
3.If you are one of those who like to coincide their wedding dates with any special occasion then arrange your wedding on Valentine's Day (February 14th) or choose The Sweetest Day (October 18th) to get married. You could also choose the anniversary of the day you first met your fiance as your wedding day. Some couples also honor their parents or grandparents by getting married on their wedding date. Other auspicious wedding dates can be your birthdays or Queen Victoria's wedding date, etc.
4.One thing you must avoid while choosing your wedding date is keep it on some religious holiday. If you keep your wedding on Super Bowl Sunday or on some other important religious holiday then your guests might not be present to witness your wedding.
5.To choose a wedding date you do not only need the consent of your partner, but also need to consult your family or other close friends whom you want to be present in your wedding. Check whether your brothers or sisters will have their college finals or your parents and close friends will be available on the day. You will also have to check the availability of the wedding hall, church or other venues on that day.
You must choose your wedding date with all these points in your mind. Also, plan your wedding date after a year of your engagement. After spending a whole year with your finance you can become fully comfortable with him and understand him better. Only then can you make the right decision!
