Cancer is one of the most dangerous diseases known to mankind

It is an illness in which cells grow out of control, grow abnormally or disproportionately in size and shape, ignore their limits inside the body, destroy surrounding cells, and spread throughout the body. When cancer occurs, the body can no longer control the cells activity and the cell is out of control.Cancer has had a huge and horrific impact on our world. It's a very dangerous disease, especially in children. When a cancer cell's size increases, it demands more of the body's nutrition to stay alive. When a child catches cancer, the cancer takes the child's strength, destroys organs and bones, and weakens the body's ability to defend against other illnesses.
Cancer affects about 14 out of every 100,000 kids in the United States each year. The most popular types of cancer in kids are leukemia, brain cancer, and osteosarcoma (bone cancer). The general triggers of cancer in children are different from those in adults, such as smoking and environmental poisons. Sometimes there may be an increase risk in cancer in kids with genetic conditions, such as Down syndrome. In mostly all cases, cancer in children is caused by noninherited mutations in the genes of growing cells. Because these mutations, or changes, occur randomly and are unpredictable, an effective way to repel them has not been found.
Although there is not a definite way to prevent cancer, there are ways to treat cancer. One way is by participating in chemotherapy. Chemotherapy involves the use of medical drugs to kill cancerous cells. Another method is radiation, which involves using radiant energy to kill cancerous cells. Another treatment is undergoing surgery to remove cancerous cells and tumors.
So cancer is a dangerous but treatable disease. It not only affects adults, but children and teens also. The most common cancers are brain cancer, leukemia, and osteosarcoma. Cancer is pretty much unpredictable and can happen at any moment in a child's life. But with all the treatments out there, there is hope if you may happen to have or catch cancer.
