I hosted a bucks party one time and it is a story I have to tell
. I was the event organiser and I had never bet the buck before. I introduced myself to the best man who had organised this surprise for the groom and he seemed like a clean cut, easy going, chilled out guy. Then the buck walks in. And he is wearing a veil. Just like the veils you see the bride-to-be wears when she is out on her hens night escapade.
I had never seen a bucks party where the soon to be groom wears a veil. He had been drinking and the entire party was having the time of their lives. They were all laughing, drinking and having fun and I couldnt help but to join in the good time. I mean I had never been to such an outrageous bucks party before.
So when I mentioned this to a few friends of mine, they told me their stories. Boy was I in for a surprise. If I thought that the buck wearing a veil was outrageous, my friends were sure to let me know that there are much more outrageous novelty toys out there that many bucks parties become famous for. Well at least among the community of bucks who were at the bucks party Adelaide event anyway.
At one bucks party there was a blow up doll that was given away as a prize for a game. This blow up doll was passed around from man to man through out the night. As all the bucks walked through the dark night streets of Adelaide talking in their slurring speech, stumbling to their next destination the blow up doll was throne from person to person. Even in the club that the bucks party entered into, the doll was the centre of attention.
Another bucks party story which took place in Adelaide involved ping pong balls. Now if you dont know what kind of novelty toy ping pong balls are then Im afraid you are just not old enough to know about them just yet.
To sum things up, bucks party novelty toys can add a lot of fun to the night. It makes people laugh, and loosens up the crowd. It shows everyone that you dont have to be uptight and it really makes the night a whole lot more fun than it would be otherwise because by being outrageous it allows people to be outrageous too.
