Due to frequent train delays, and incessant roadworks it may well be that such people have identified UK flights as being the best way of getting about, and there are all sorts of reasons why this might be the case.One of the main ones to think about is simply the speed with which you can get from door to door when you travel on flights rather than by car or by rail. It is unlikely that you will be in the for any longer than a few hours at the very most and you will not have to go through a lengthy check in process either as you will simply be engaging in domestic travel.
If you have your tentative of travelling by rail then you may also find that travelling by a plane is a lot cheaper as well. Train travel can be very expensive, particularly if you book up your ticket last-minute, and as such often it is financially prudent to jump on a plane instead.
Either way, regardless of whether you get your train ticket last-minute or not, often it is cheaper to travel by plane anyway. Petrol charges and wear and tear to your vehicle, or highly priced train fares can often be a lot more expensive than booking up a flight with a low-cost airline well in advance. In addition, you will also travel in a higher level of comfort as well.
The whole process of flying is also one that is far more simple and relaxing than travelling by train or travelling by car. When travelling by car you will of course have to keep focused for the entire journey, but when you travel by plane you can reduce your stress levels and take a lot of the hassle out of the whole process.
You may also be able to get some work done during your flight as well. While it is certainly possible to get work done on the train, it is unlikely that you will be very productive when driving, and so travelling by plane will also enable you to catch up on some much needed work if needs be, or even some general R&R if you prefer.
