Deciding to have surgery to enlarge your chest is a big deal
. Women get breast augmentation for an array of reasons and often, it's a great idea. Unfortunately, this surgery will not guarantee certain things and it's important to know some of the common misconceptions women have regarding such a procedure.
Save your relationship
Women that are going through a rocky relationship sometimes think a plastic surgery such as breast augmentation will work magically to save their relationship. Unfortunately, this is simply not true. Getting surgery for any reason other than the fact that you want it for you and only you is not a wise move. This is because if you get some type of surgery and it doesn't save your relationship, you may end up regretting the procedure. If you want to enhance your appearance, try a new hairstyle or maybe buy a new wardrobe. These simple changes can boost your confidence and won't be so permanent.
Make you look like a celebrity
Sadly, some women think that surgery will transform them into their favorite celebrity. Just because a star got implants doesn't mean you will look like them if you get implants. Of course, you may be able to mimic the cup size of a star, but other than that, you won't look anything like them unless you already looked like them before.
Lift your chest
When you get breast augmentation you will have a fuller, more shapely chest. And while it may do wonders for filling out a flat chest, it won't lift them up. So if your chest is sagging a lot, you may need to consider a lift also. This way, your chest will look fuller and firmer, plus you can fight the signs of aging and shave off a few more years before having to deal with a sagging chest.
Help you meet quality men
Although having a body you can be proud of can make you feel better about your looks, it won't necessarily do anything for your ability to meet men. Sure, you may get a little more attention because some men only look at a woman's chest. However, the kind of men you meet can vary greatly, especially if a man is not listening to you. Breast augmentation will only accent other great qualities you have, but won't help you hold a better conversation, have a sense of humor or not be needy in a relationship. You will have to do that yourself. A large chest will not guarantee that you meet better men.
