Barcelona Night Tours

The Catalan Capital of Barcelona has fast become a popular destination for visitors to Spain, many often choosing the city over Spain's capital, Madrid. It's easy to see why: sandy beaches, hills and mountains, some of the world's best architecture, parks and gardens and a heritage left behind from Roman times means that Barcelona is a feast for the eyes.

Barcelona is the gem in the crown of Europe's cultural heritage and is known for its architectural splendor. At the same time it is every inch of a modern day city; vibrant and happening for those who love to have fun on their short break in Barcelona. Barcelona Night scene is on par with anywhere else in the world as laidback Spaniards come out at nights and live their lives to the fullest.

What night visit could be complete without a visit to the musical, magical fountains at Montjic? This showpiece from the 1992 Olympics has evening shows at varying times through the year, and is a great place to visit with young or old. The jets and streams of water "dance" to light and music - anything from classical to pop, and even the classic "Barcelona" theme song from the Olympics! So what's the best way to combine all of these night-light viewings? Well, you're in luck!

Razzmatazz- One of the most popular nightclubs, Razzmatazz is at the top of the indie scene in Barcelona. Bands like The Killers and Kasabian play regularly, and on an off night they still have great rock, pop, electro and punk tunes playing in their three different rooms. Located on Pamplona 88 in the Poble Nou district, Razzmatazz is open weekends from 1 a.m. to 5 a.m.

Pacha- Named after its sister club in Ibiza, the Barcelona version does not disappoint, attracting world-renowned DJs and hip crowds. Dress code- no sneakers. Located at Av. Doctor Maranon, open midnight - 6 a.m.

One of the best things to do in Barcelona at night is to visit the Magic Fountain of Montjuic. These fountains provide a spectacular show of colour, shapes and light that will keep you in awe for the entire length of the show. The Magic Fountain of Montjuic is free to visit and the shows are on regularly every weekend
