And since they are locally based they are the first to be notified about special promotions and deep discounted rates from the hotels they represent.
Tip #2: Compare Rates
All hotel reservation agencies in Bangkok purchase a block of rooms from hundreds of contracted hotels throughout Thailand at deeply discounted rates. With a wider presence on the Internet these agencies are able to expose hotels they are partnered with to a larger Internet audience. They are also non partial and unbiased, providing general information as well as genuine guests reviews, so that you can make a better informed decision on which hotel to choose.
These agencies are then able to provide travelers lower hotels rates since they've already acquired a block of rooms at a deeply discounted price. At times they are able to offer up to 40% off or better yet free nights during a minimum stay period.

Bangkok's accommodations are a very good value especially when you compare them to Western hotels. But remember, even though hotel rooms in Bangkok are already very affordable, you can still find even better prices by reserving a room through a local agency and spending a few extra minutes doing price comparisons.
