When you are going to use your food storage, it will probably be a very stressful time. Whether you are out of a job or whether a natural disaster put a stop to the productiveness of your community, you will be resorting to the food you have stored in the cupboard.

For example, when you fall in love, everything else seems to fall away. However, whether you have lost your appetite during normal circumstances or during stressful ones, it is important to restore your appetite as soon as possible to the healthy levels.

On a normal appetite it can be difficult to encourage yourself to eat wheat, honey, and reconstituted dry milk when that is all you have been eating for several days or weeks.

Certain medications designed to treat certain illnesses may also lead to an appetite loss. You may find that when you are not hungry you go into a spiral that circles downward.

If you do not have a variety of food stored in your food storage, you may also lose your appetite simply because you are tired of eating the food that is available. This condition is actually quite common among those who have little.

To treat this condition, you may want to try taking an increased amount of vitamins, particularly zinc, magnesium, vitamin B, vitamin C and potassium. You may also want to try avoiding high fiber foods.

In addition, try splurging on the foods that sound and taste good to you. Of course, you will need to plan ahead if you want to be able to have these remedies stored with your food storage.
