True Bride started its Bride Of The Year competition in 2001
. This year marks the tenth annual Bride of the Year Competition, hosted by TrueBride.com.au. Each year brides from all over Australia can compete for chances to win fantastic prizes and the honor of being crowned Bride of the Year.If you are an Australian bride who married between October 1, 2009 and December 31, 2010 and are a member of True Bride, you can qualify. You must enter by January 31, 2011. The competition is very easy to enter, the process can be complete in three simple steps. Brides must first submit up to eight photos of their special day, including at least one close up of the bride. The second step consists of confirming all of your personal information. The third and final step of the process is to tell True Bride about four of your wedding suppliers. The entrants that supply this information by the first day of each month become eligible to compete in that months competition to be selected as one of the two finalists for each month. Finalists are selected by site visitors who can vote for each bride only once. The two brides who receive the most votes at the end of each month become the finalists for their month.
The finalists selected throughout the year then have their photos displayed on the website for one month to allow people plenty of time to view the photos and place votes for their favorite bride. The bride who receives the most votes when voting closes at the end of the month will then be declared the 2010 Bride of the Year. This year's finals will be held in March 2011.
Becoming Bride of the Year is a great way to celebrate your wedding day. The winner will receive a $2,000 cash prize, a $500 Zuster shopping voucher, the privilege of wearing the Bride of the Year "Crown" and her wedding story will be displayed online for 12 months for everyone on the world wide web to see. All it takes to win are votes. Brides just need to get the support of their friends and family.
