Each gate is ornate and the relief carvings are splendid, on the left of each gate one may see 54 gods on the left and to the other side 54 demon statue carvings. The south gate is the most popular as it leads visitors to the Angkor Wat. The west gate was captured in a scene from Tomb Raider (2001).
