.Ancol Dreamland having opened in 1966 has now grown into one of South East Asias most successful tourism attractions that are highly integrated. To date it boasts of a championship golf pitch, hotels and other recreational facilities.
Dreamlands theme park known as Dunia Fantasi has over thirty rides, and is segregated into different themes. For example the regions are divided into categories such as Jakarta, Asia, Greece. There are also other regions which have been created depending on the type of activity or theme for instance like the Monkey Parody, or Fantasy etc. Another plus point is that the theme is secure and adheres to international standards such as the internatuionally recognised ISO 9001:2000 certification.
A popular attraction at the park is the Niagara Flume ride and the theatre shows. One of the theatre shows to look out for is based on the Disney show Its a small world. The park also has its usual attractions like the Ferris wheel and the ride with the spinning cups which is a favourite among the junior travellers. Another famous ride which has made the park so well known is the Rama Sita ride. Through this ride, those who venture on it are retold the folktale of Rama and Sita through the use of digital technology.

Among the more popular water rides the Atlantis Water Adventure, at the water park is much sort after. In addition to this, the park has two beaches as well.
The Atlantis Water Adventure stretches across over 4 acres of land, and is designed behind the mythical world of Atlantis which is said to have sunk hundreds of years ago. The facilities available here include a wave pool, a river pool and many slides. Beside the wet and wild rides that the park has to offer it also has a food court and even an event centre.
