For your clothing, carry only the basic and most practical stuff on safari holidays. Carry cotton or linen clothes in colours of the earth like beige, olive and brown that keep you cool and help you merge into your surroundings.
Evenings are likely to be chill so carry long sleeved shirts and full length trousers. Take a hat, sunscreen, sunglasses and insect repellent along as well.
Other things you must remember to carry on safari holidays are a first aid box and your prescription medicine. Camera, binoculars and a water kit are also essentials to a comfortable and enjoyable safari experience.
