American Idol 2011 Top 9 Performances Recap
American Idol 2011 is getting tougher and giving more entertainment to the audience. The top 9 performers of the American Idol 2011 were in good position and now it is getting harder for the Americans to figure out who need to be eliminated. Of course, there are no bad performances that took place among the top nine finalists. Last night, the dashing performances took place for 90 minutes where the finalists were asked to select some crazy song related to Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame. During the start of the episode, Steven Tyler exclaimed Long Live Rock n' Roll!!'
The first to come on the stage was Jacob Lusk and has chose Michael Jackson's Man on the Mirror'. Steven Tyler said that every time he sings he brings out another little piece of himself into the party. He praised for such an attitude and said that it was beautiful. Randy Jackson said that she is so proud of him and the performance was really hot. Jennifer Lopez congratulated him for what he sang said that it was perfect in every way on every emotional level and it was really a beautiful performance.
Coming to the second performance, it was Haley Reinhart who has chose to sing the song by Janis Joplin: Piece of my Heart. Tyler stated that he could not find anything wrong with the singing and did the same thing again and really loves it. Jennifer said that Haley is a contender and suggested to keep the spirit moving on. The third finalist Casey Abrams has sung Have You Ever Seen the Rain' which was loved by all judges. Randy stated that Abrams definitely did well justice to that song and he is making upright bass cool. Steven thinks that Casey needs to put some wheels on that and ride the thing around. He added that Casey is true musician and every time he sings, he brings out something different from him.
The next come Lauren Alaina, she sand Natural Woman. Jennifer said that it was really nice and amazing. Randy said that the song was really difficult and she did the good job. Tyler praised Lauren by saying that he loves her. He added that four months ago she came as an immature little girl, but tonight she has been a natural born woman. Lauren was next followed by James Durbin who took a special approach and has sung While My Guitar Gently Weeps'. The judges were happy and loved the performance. They said that it was nice to see the other side of James and loved it to see the real true emotional side of him. Steven said that it was really a proud moment for him.
The next finalist to sing was Scotty McCreery; he paid tribute to his childhood hero and sang That's Alright Mama'. He gave off an amazing performance and has the ability to win the American Idol 2011. Randy said that all have never seen that side of his performance and it was really awesome. The next spectacular performance was given by Pia Toscano who sang River Deep, Mountain High'. Steven Tyler was really impressed with the singing and it was really great. Lopez stated that it is really amazing and in truth a very special up in the stage.
The last but one performance was given by Stefano Langone took of a romantic side of him and has sung When a Man Loves a Woman'. Jennifer loved it and said that she knew she really has it in her. Randy said that the first part felt a little jerky to him but he liked it overall. The last but not the least was Paul McDonald. He sang Johnny Cash's Prison Blues. Randy said that she has only three words to tell and that is she loved it. Jennifer Lopez said that it was a perfect way to end the show and said that it was amazing.
