. It is important to remember that it doesn't develop in adults. Any of these symptoms could have been present as a child but was not treated as such. It may have seemed to be a problem of being shy or just doing poorly in school but could really have been a symptom of ADHD. Again, proper diagnosis is important to accurately understand it. More often, the reason for going to the doctor may be depression or anxiety but discussion on the different situations that have occurred with the person could reveal that ADHD is actually the culprit. ADHD is not something one can outgrow or cure. The most that we can do is diagnose and manage it through treatments which could save the person or the family from further problems. In fact, managing it successfully can help a person with ADHD reduce problems at work making professional a little better.
