New Forest was given National Park status in 2005 which stretches to an area of approximately
580 square kilometers which is 143321 acres with a total population of about 38000.The New Forest accommodation comprises of privately owned homes which are run as guest houses by their owners to enhance their regular source of income. The New Forest houses are self-catering and set in old 17th century manor houses.
