There is the presence of manganese and ferrous oxide in the walls and it is the deposition of these natural elements that create the magnificent coloration. Taking a stroll through these ancient walls is mesmerizing and awe inspiring.
Egypt is filled with oases and one of the more sceneic ones is called Ein Khudra near Taba, which means "Green Oasis". These are always the places where freshwater meets the desert. In this particular oasis, the date palm trees and gushing springs converge to create a highly attractive location.
