A Tale Of Teamwork, Father-Daughter Dino-Mite Duo Designing Positive Messages For Children

Iguanodons get top billing in Sunrise Over Fire Rock Field, a dino-mitechildren's book by new author John Dolbey that gets intermediate readers to think dino-dynamically and be committed to what they come up with. For one thing is certain, if we think big and work together, sunrise or sunset, the sky is the limit.

It isn't easy being an iguanodon. Just ask Iggy, his sisters, Guana and Dawn, and their folks, Juras and Maya. At nearly three tons each and on a classic herbivore diet, it's no short order or small task to keep their bellies full. On an increasingly barren and rocky terrain, the herd searches for green stuff to gobble, but when push comes to shove, one fearless and forward-thinking leader must earn the respect of not just his peers and his elders, but also that of other plant-eating dinosaurs like the brachiosauruses, stegosauruses, diplodocuses, and triceratopses. In eighteen episodically charged chapters with titles such as "Sad about Salad," "Dragonflies," "Iggy's Turn," and "Herds Unite and Battle," Iggy learns what it means to be brave and what it means to stick to his guns. Alone, he embarks on an epic journey to discover a new place where the land is green and his fellow dinosaurs can thrive. A truly imaginative debut, this dinosaur diary is sure to get kids excited about reading!

Author John Dolbey shares that the iguanodon characters in the chapters of Sunrise Over Fire Rock Field were co-created with his daughter, who loves dinosaurs, over their three-year period of storytelling. "Over time, it developed into longer stories and this book," he says. "I have done this mostly for my daughter so that she could see her passions come to life and that hard work can bring good results." Please visit us at https://iggyadventures.com
