5 Ways How To Involve Your Staff In The Annual Christmas Parties

Giving your staff a say in the annual Christmas party will not only motivate them

and make them feel more involved, it will help you create the Christmas party they want and deserve. Heres a few ways you can make the more involved.

1.Announce a competition, asking them something like, what theme or entertainment they would like to see? After gathering your suggestions, ask your staff to vote on what was the best idea. Of course, keep the entries anonymous until the nominated winner is announced, that way no favouritism can occur.

2.Get each department to organise a part of the party after choosing a theme. For instance, let the administrators organise that fantastic dcor, whilst letting the sales team advertise the party by word of mouth and invitations. Make it more fun by giving those teams involved a little extra gift for their efforts.

3.If you are holding your Christmas party in the office, why not ask each member of staff to bring something tasty to share, it will encourage staff morale and improve communications.

4.Furthermore, you could ask your staff to organise fun Christmas games to play. Of course they have to be fitting to the season and agreeable among everyone. Murder mystery parties, hosted in venues throughout the U.K, are very popular at Christmas as they are fun and encourage team spirit!

5.A Christmas party is not the only option of getting staff involved. Asking them if they are willing to complete a charity run or sponsored event for charity at Christmas (as a team) will help improve team dynamics and make them feel more involved within society.

Encouraging involvement is a great way of getting to know exactly what your staff wants at Christmas. It will not only help you make decisions, but will help you make a Christmas event that will keep your staff happy and praise them for their years worth of hard work.
