5 Musts For Your Travel Bag

Now that you are all set for a vacation and waiting to step out of your house you need to give a careful look at your baggage again. Your luggage should not miss anything that would be required during the journey and during the whole trip.

1. Safety of your valuables
While packing dont keep all your valued articles like credit card, cash, travelers check and your passport etc. in the same bag. They must get place in different pockets and bags. In case your baggage is stolen then you may have certain things left with you. For an intelligent travel you may scan your passport, paper tickets and other details and store them in your email account. This may serve purpose when you loose all your belongings. You would even have an advantage when you meet the authorities at the embassy for your passport.
2.Portable items
While packing your toiletries make sure that you dont carry large and heavy bottles and tubes of cosmetics. Shop for smaller packs and carry them along. You wont wish to add unnecessary weight to your luggage and if by chance the bigger bottles spill then they may even spoil your other belongings.
3. Plastic bags
Environmentalists would say not to use plastic bags but until they are readily available you may take the privilege to use them but please dont litter plastic bags. I suggest that you can pack your toiletries in plastic bags and keep a few extra. The extras would come in handy to keep your dirty clothes separate and they can also be used to through away some garbage etc. I started keeping my clothes in plastic bags and have realized that the clothes dont get crushed inside the baggage.
4. Plan your clothes
Your clothes are as important as your excursion or meeting. Plan what you would wear and how many clothes would you need in total. It is obvious that you cannot carry all that is in your wardrobe. I plan clothes that suits every occasion and also keep in mind the weight of luggage.
5. Medicines and Prescription
If you are under any kind of medicines then dont forget to keep a stock of them with you because you may not find you medicine in some different city and you wont wish to waste your precious time in looking for the medicines all round the city. It is wise to carry your doctors prescription too. Unfortunately, if you are taken ill then any doctor would get a clue of your medical history.
So, cross-check you luggage, board your transport on time and head off to you destination. Its time to break free from all your worries.
