So how do you decide when you should outsource? Before you start thinking of answers to this question, you may have to know where you can outsource your articles from. There are number of alternatives; one being overseas, and the other being within America. The main factor when making this decision is going to be the lower cost of articles being outsourced from overseas. Even though this is the primary reason, you quickly find out that the quality of many articles outsourced from overseas is not up to par. You may either have to correct the grammar or try to edit the context so that it will relay the information you're trying to communicate the best way Americans will understand it. In any way, the lower cost may not justify the time that you have to spend over the articles, which could even end up costing you more.
Assuming that you've made a sound decision regarding the dilemma of outsourcing your articles either within America or from overseas, below is the list of items I consider when I am making my decision on whether I should outsource my articles or not:
1. Optimization is the most critical subject to me. If my articles have to be optimized, especially in a specific way, I write my own articles. If optimization is not an issue then the articles are usually outsourced.
2. If the subject is beyond my knowledge and technically involved, then the articles will most likely be outsourced to the proper people with that unique experience.
3. When I don't have the the time to write articles, and convinced that the revenues I'll be generating by doing something else will justify the price of the articles.
You also need to understand that not everybody is cutout or inclined to write articles. Perhaps you are an accountant and it maybe the tax time, or you maybe a doctor who would like to develop his website with optimized content. To put it differently, there are many instances where you need to run your business and let a Search Engine Optimization professional handle your content creation, and also anything else relevant to on-page and off-page optimization of your site.
