A company website is developed with a motto of nurturing two way interaction between the company and the consumer. There are several advantages in hosting a company web site. A website is a potential sales channel. A large number of firms spend money in having their own website but they fail to measure their return of investment. In some cases, no procedure is laid out to measure as whether their site is making the right impact or not.

A short training program can be given to the administrator by the developers on issues that might occur and how to resolve the same.

To paraphrase, the company must monitor the website performance and effectiveness by analyzing an overall traffic volume statistic. Seize the opportunity of measuring the click-through rates to individual sections of the website. This enables the business to see the customers interest and whether visits are being converted into sales.
