Some families also purchase a second car solely for the purpose of going on holiday each year. For example, the car they use on a daily basis may not be powerful enough to pull their caravan, so they go ahead and purchase a workhorse specifically for that purpose. The type of cover you choose will of course depend primarily on the value of vehicle you intend driving.
