Used Car Market In Canada by:Sylvain Belanger
Used car market is growing at a healthy rate across North America. With the increased reliability, efficiency and overall build quality of the cars, it is much easier to find good quality used cars than ever before. Increase in used car sales is also due to the reason that use car dealers are also aggressively marketing used car as cheap and decent quality alternative of new cars. The reason behind this is that used car dealers make more money per car than the dealerships selling brand new cars. Also certified used cars are more profitable than non certified used cars.
In the booming used car market, authorized dealerships are having a good time as they have vast range of certified used cars and usually provide good after sales service, though their used car prices are on the higher side when compared to independent or private sellers. Another advantage of authorized dealership is that they access to newer vehicles that are less then 2-3 years old so even if consumer is buying a three year old car at a much cheaper price than a new one, he or she can enjoy years of service that the vehicle will provide. Banks also seems to favor authorized dealership when it comes to giving loan for a simple reason that paper work is genuine and the car is also in relatively good shape.
The use of internet has also made it possible for many to buy quality used cars. Consumers don't have to go to each and every used car dealership personally to see and check the available cars. Consumers can do their research over the internet and if they like something than only they have to visit the actual dealership. Searching for a vehicle over the internet also gives the consumers hundreds of options to choose from.
