At Moore Market Complex some platforms in 12, 13 and 14 have been provided with surveillance cameras which are going to record the photographs of drivers when they will start the train and it will also keep a check on illicit mobility of the people if there is any. 2. Surveillance cameras are fitted on 17 platforms of Chennai Central Railway Station. 3. The platform No. 14 is fenced by a boundary wall which is around for 200 metres to provide security. This is done to keep a check on unauthorised people who might create disturbance in the complex. 4. There is also an incorporated security scheme which provides the facility of (a) access security (b) perimeter security (c) surveillance cameras and (d) sniffer dogs.
