Teen Bedding for Dormatories

When searching for teen bedding there are many online sites that cover both girl teens and boy teens. Many of these sites are quite unique, in that a person can purchase teen bedding, either for a dorm room or for a younger live at home teenager.

A teenage young man, going to college, normally looks for his teen bedding in a somewhat plain style, as to not draw unwanted attention with bright colors and prints. He may choose something in black, a neutral color, or perhaps his favorite sport with his favorite team logo or a player's jersey number. Finding either is an easy task. He would also want to find his teen bedding to be machine washable and long lasting, as he may be sitting on the teen bedding to eat his meals, watching television, doing his studying, or chatting with friends. One problem that seems to be of general concern is the size of the beds in the dorm rooms and finding sheets that will accommodate the fit. Most dorm beds are 80" in length and 39" wide and the search for sheets may take a bit of research. The best fit for these dorm room beds are the extra large twin size sheets. These extra large twin sheets will fit perfectly, and many online sites offer them. The comforter, quilt, or duvet cover is a normal twin size. Teen bedding can be found in any print or color desired for that special male college student.

A teenage young lady, going to college, may want something in teen bedding to go with the peace sign on her wall, her favorite female sports figure, or a teen idol of her choice. Chances are, this young lady would not want her teen bedding to be too frilly, as she may have had at home. Again, extra large twin size sheets are necessary to fit the dorm bed. She would also want her teen bedding to be comfortable and durable enough that she and her friends can sit and either study together, or just chat to their hearts content. The young lady, most likely, will choose her favorite color, whether it be a shade of pink, bright red or others girly colors. Many online sites offer a variety of colors in girl's teen bedding, both in prints or solids, in comforters, duvets, and sheets of the young ladies choice. Online sites also offer wall hangings to match the comforters or duvets. These seem to be a favorite with young ladies; they also may come with a valance, and sometimes a matching lamp shade. Even a matching trash can is available. Throws can also be found in faux fur, which also seems to be a favorite with the young ladies of today, for their dorm room. She and her friends enjoy wrapping up in this luxuriously soft teen bedding throw, to study or just hang out and gossip on a cold night.

It may take some research for the college teen, or their parents, to find exactly what best accommodates them and their dorm room needs for the perfect teen bedding. Remember, in finding teen bedding for a young college student's dorm room, to purchase something machine washable, the correct size of sheets, as well as a durable fabric for their long lasting comfort.
