Srinagar: After battling with life for over two months, a youth who was injured during clashes in Kashmir in October this year succumbed to injuries this afternoon.
25-year-old Zahoor Ahmad Dar Son of Abdur Razak Dar of Islamia Colony, old town of north Kashmir's district Baramulla was injured during clashes between protesters and the government forces near Cement Bridge in October, this year.
Dar was rushed to SK Instituted of medical Sciences for treatment. However, he succumbed to injuries.
Reports reaches to Agence India Press said, the whole area reverberated with pro freedom and anti India slogans when the body of Zahoor was brought to the old town. Thousands of men, women came out on roads and staged demonstrations.
Kashmir has been facing unrest since June 11 and at least 108 people, mostly teenagers have died in police and paramilitary CRPF firing in Kashmir, triggering massive anti-India protests. (AIP)
