Fleas can live in blankets, upholstery, clothing and other fabrics so it is important to wash all of the furniture and fabric that your dog has been in contact with after you treat them with Frontline for dogs.Here are some tips for washing your dogs bedding so that it will be thoroughly cleaned and all of the fleas will be destroyed:
- It is better to provide your dog with its own dog bed rather than letting it sleep in your bed, so that if it does contract fleas they will be contained to one area and you will not have to clean your bedding as well.
- Gather up all the dogs bedding and wash it on the hottest setting possible. Use a special soap which is designed to kill fleas. This will help to kill any insect eggs which are harboured in the bedding.

- When you are vacuuming, you can add a spoonful of flea powder directly into the vacuum bag before you start so that you will immediately kill any fleas that you pick up. This will prevent them from growing inside the vacuum bag.
