Since there is so much of competition, the home insurance companies know that they cannot fiddle around with the customer. They know that if they do not give acceptable rates, the customers will go away.

The marketing strategy here is that when a cluster of such companies accumulates in a region, they may mutually decide the rates. No company shall charge higher neither lower. Under such circumstances, the customer cannot do anything but to abide by the terms and conditions. Whosoever is in the majority shall have his way out. This is the modern trick of business.

When the home insurance companies are not in a majority, they are more customers centric. They will take care of the needs of the customer. They will advertise on the internet to gain more customers. Maintaining a large base of loyal and satisfied customers is very important. The customers are the only source of business and it should be the moral duty of the companies to please them.
