Traditional and fashionable Banarasi silk saree is crowded with combination of black, maroon and golden colours. zari woven motifs are engaged in this banarasi silk saree. This saree is divided with border, body part and pallu part. The body part is fully woven with gold and maroon floral motif which is interconnected with red leaves in the dark pure black background. Each floral motif got four petals which are followed alternatively. Small pollen grains are attached at the sides of the gold large motifs. The body is fully occupied at the interconnected floral motif. The border of the saree is divided into four parts. The first part is lined with maroon; the second part is looped with small tiny dots in the background of black. The third part of the border is horizontally repeated buy contrast colours like golden and red. The fourth part of the border is engaged with crossed diagonal lines which are fully filled with golden colours.
The pallu part starts with dot filling and zari with alternative colours. Next to the border, a black rectangle frame is involved to differentiate the zari and the inner pallu design. At the golden back ground, many tiny black zigzag lines are arranged in columns. At the end of the pallu, a five inch plain black material is left free to highlight the border and the hemline. The matching blouse is attached to the babarasi silk saree. A puff sleeve with pure plain golden zari that is taken from the left over border is attached at the sleeves. Deep round neck with golden piping work look more appropriate for the short puff sleeve. Center back is fully closed just to support the center front wide round neck. Since center back is closed fully, side invisible zip is introduced to wear or to remove the blouse easily.
