Staying within the perimeters of the policy will keep the system safe and the user not having to worry about who sees what is stored, typed or where you visit while on line.
These all seem like common sense sorts of things, but starting with a safe and effective usage policy can save your company from some big trouble down the road. Sometimes things get downloaded accidentally or a site gets visited by mistake, it only takes a couple of keystrokes to miss or hit and you will be on your way to the wrong site. Your computer should be set up to block anything that might be considered hazardous or unsafe to visit.
