Of course dental hygiene habits are encouraged and started at home, but it always helps to go to the pediatric dentist where kids get rewards and dentist attention just for their dental needs. Of course it takes the routine of a parent's dental hygiene habits to create the dental hygiene habits of their children, but parents can have good dental hygiene and still not have children with good dental hygiene.
Taking your kids to the pediatric dentist can help to form good dental hygiene habits for your kids which in turn helps them to have good dental health and good overall health. Another reason to take your kids to the pediatric dentist is that the pediatric dentist can help kids to enjoy the dentist visits rather than fear them. You don't want your kids to grow up with a huge fear of going to the dentist and avoid the dentist visits all their lives.
