When is it More Expensive to Pay Less? (Part 1)

When is it More Expensive to Pay Less? (Part 1)

When is it More Expensive to Pay Less? (Part 1)

Have you ever heard the phrase "You Get What You Pay For"? I'm pretty sure that you have, but when should you take this under consideration? In the world in which we live in, we, as a society, have to find ways to save our hard earned money. However, sometimes we need to invest those extra bucks in order to get quality products. So when is okay to pay a little more? Well, not to fear! Just follow the following guideline and you will be on you way to saving tons of money!!!

Batteries

We live in a wireless world. Cell phones, radios, laptops, i-pods, fans, cars, flashlights, just to name a few things, are all without wires. This means that they run on batteries. So sometimes, you might be tempted to buy a less expensive brand of batteries to save some cash. But sometimes it's just not worth it. We rely heavily on batteries, and we just can't risk purchasing a less expensive battery at the expense of giving us limited power for our everyday power needs. We just cannot afford to keep purchasing batteries, so the more power they have, the longer they last. And the longer they last, the more money you save. When is it More Expensive to Pay Less? (Part 1)

Light Bulbs

Like the batteries, we rely heavily on light bulbs. It is the main source of light that we have during the night or in when in darkness. We practically use light bulbs every day (and night for that matter). We need to get light bulbs that are have a long life, this way we won't have to worry about them dying so quickly. But sometimes cheaper bulbs do not provide a sufficient lifespan. This is why getting an inexpensive light bulb can be more expensive if you're not careful. It's better to buy expensive light bulbs that last a 3 months than to buy cheaper ones that last only a month. Just do the math. It's just not financially beneficial.

Garbage Bags

There's nothing less fun than taking out the garbage. Nobody really wants to do it, but it is something that has to been done. It's an inconvenient house shore, yes. But it is even worst when the garbage bag you're trying to take out rips apart, spreading your trash all over the floor. Cheaper garbage bags tend to do that: rip very easily. So why not invest on bags that cost a little more? Trust me; it is worth not only the hassle not only of picking up the floor of scattered trash, but also of spending your money on new garbage bags.

Mattresses

You might think that a good mattress is not important, but believe it or not, it is! You can never underestimate the benefits of a good night's rest. Having a mattress that you can sleep well and comfortable on can do wonders to your day. I'm not saying that you should go out there and spend an enormous amount of money on a mattress. With mattresses, it's a little complex because everyone is different. What's comfortable for me might not be so for you. There various types of mattresses out there; from spring to foam to water, just to name a few. The important thing is to get the right one for you. The right mattress for you will be the one that helps you wake up feeling energized and refreshed. It is an investment that will pay off. Besides, like the other products in this list, you're mattress is more likely to last longer too. When is it More Expensive to Pay Less? (Part 1)

I know that you like to save money. I mean, who doesn't? So it is perfectly natural to look for inexpensive products that we use everyday. However, sometimes it is not worth to risk the quality over the value of a product. We need to be smart and think about long term expenses as supposed to only thinking about what we're spending at the time of purchase.

I have only covered a few products on this list. There are still a few products that I would like to talk about, perhaps even more important than the ones on here. But I kept them separate because the others are more risky than these because they involve a little more serious matters (e.i. health, I.D. theft, etc. ) as opposed to normal, everyday activities. They definitely belong in a different category. So keep an eye out for second part of my list!
