Universal Studios Singapore Review

Resorts World at Sentosa is Singapore's landmark holiday destination that encapsulates fun-filled experiences with leisure, entertainment and edutainment attractions for everyone. Through the pan-regional presence of Star Cruises, the integrated resort with spectacular attractions also benefit regional tourism as it create a sustained spillover of visitors to the neighbouring destinations.

Resorts World at Sentosa (RWS) is the name of Universal Studios Singapore and the legalised gambling den, Casino on the island of Sentosa, off the southern coast of Singapore. Built with the cost of US$4.9 billion, the resort is the home of well-known brands and world-class entertainment. Currently, the resort is only 80% completed. But really the park is ingeniously modeled for light amounts of walking between attractions tucked behind the facades. These areas are roofed to protect from rain and sun, like the Osaka park.

Madagascar: A Crate Adventure, meanwhile, is an indoor boat ride based on the popular Dreamworks animated movies. Universal says the ride will feature "animated figures, digital projection, evocative sound, and special effects that create an one-of-a-kind, funny and fun family ride". It is a boat ride that takes place within, ironically, a giant boat - the cargo ship from the first film, which towers over the park. The hit DreamWorks Animation films are brought to life with state-of-the-art animated figures, digital projection, evocative sound, along with moving show-action effects that create an one-of-a-kind, immersive ride experience.

Ancient Egypt at the Universal Studios Singapore is modeled to showcase the historical adaptation of ancient Egypt during the 1930s golden age of Egyptian exploration. It is in this era that whole Pharaohs tombs were discovered in Egypt. Ancient Egypt also features some of the park's most imposing theming, with big tombs together with stone sculptures peering down over guests.

Ride the AcceleratorT and see if you can keep your wits about you while madly spinning on this whirling attraction. Engage in the ultimate inter-galactic battle of Humans versus Cylons on the Battlestar GalacticaT dueling coasters, themed after the hit TV show. Riders on the first 3 rows can experience water dropping on them. The car drops backwards into the "turntable room".

Visitors to Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure don't have to worry for their lives, though, as the dinosaurs here, unlike in the movie, won't be set on the loose. Instead, you can enjoy rides and rock climbing, before making their way to WaterWorld.
