Treatment Of Warts

Treatment Of Warts

Plantar warts treatment is one of the most challenging treatments to accomplish

, mostly because of the nature of the condition. Although they generally don't cause any significant health issues, they can become a problem when they are repeatedly chafed or irritated.

Wart treatment can come in many forms, and minor cases can be dealt with easily enough at home using items you probably already have. One of the simplest and most effective methods of plantar warts removal involves the use of ice and a sterile needle. You will first have to cool the wart with ice, which effectively numbs it for the next step. You then take the needle, which you have sterilized beforehand and poke it into the wart in several places. You will have to poke deep into the wart in order for this to work, so get ready for a bit of pain. It shouldn't be too bad since you previously numbed the area with ice, although it is a pin prick-several in fact-that we are talking about here!

Why does this treatment of warts work? When you prick the wart deep into the base, you are actually introducing the virus into your blood stream. Your autoimmune system, which was previously unaware of the existence of the virus, now reacts to the perceived threat by sending out antibodies. The best thing about this method? You won't necessarily have to prick all the warts in your body if you have more than one that you are trying to get rid of. Your autoimmune system will consider all warts a threat and deal with them accordingly even if they aren't the warts that you originally pricked.

Plantar warts treatment will also be more effective with the use of hot water. This is particularly suited for this application as plantar warts tend to be especially stubborn. The tough outer layer of the wart makes it difficult to treat the condition topically, but hot water can effectively soften this protective layer and enhance the healing process. You do have to make sure that the water isn't hot enough to burn you, but other than that, this method for plantar wart removal is about as safe as they come. Treatment Of Warts

Here's one method you may not have considered: vitamins applied topically. For this to work, you will have to use either vitamin C or vitamin E tablets, although the approach is pretty much the same for each. Plantar wart removal with vitamin C is simple enough and all you have to do is crush a single pill and mix it into some water. The resulting paste should then be applied directly to the wart and covered with a bandage.

The vitamin E method follows a similar procedure, with the oil from a single capsule being rubbed into the skin and covered in a similar manner.

Castor oil is another effective plantar wart removal solution. This is better suited for the smaller warts that typically appear on the face or the hands.
