There were times when I had spent many sleepless nights coz of sheer work stress
. This also bought in with many other ailments like high blood pressure and diabetes. Also the work schedule left me hardly any time to have proper food, which led to have fast foods at uneven time. This regular consumption of fast food and odd eating times led me to gastronome.For a person who has just turned 32 this year, all these diseases or ailments is never a good sign. After much medication I was advice by doctors to spend some time off work. They suggested me for a good vacation but keeping a tab on my diet intake. I was not allowed to eat many of my favorite dishes and it had to be that way if I wanted to take good care of my health. But when you go for a vacation there is hardly any chance you get to eat some healthy food.
So the question of enjoying my vacation was a distant dream till the time when I came to know about panoramic sea resort at Alleppey. Panoramic sea resort offers a unique Ayurvedic Panchakarma treatment along with a fixed diet which my physician recommended. I booked the Alleppey beach resort for 14 days of Panchakarma treatment in the resort. My wife and kids too accompanied me for the first two days and the last two days of the treatment. It was seriously a great feeling to be alone and thinking about my own health and body. I could seriously feel the difference in my body after some days of treatment. Earlier I didnt like the diet which they offered, but now it has become a compulsion.
Every morning sharp at 6.00 I got a hot herbal tea and for breakfast at 8.00 I had Upma and banana. They made us eat in small quantities but many times in a day. This kept us fit enough though earlier it was a bit tough to follow this regime. The most fascinating part which I liked the most was Podiyari kanji which along with coconut chutney and pappad made my dinner superb.
The treatment which I went through included massages for body and head. The massages for body were done mixing oil with herbs that go deep into your skins and root out any impurity from your body. Then there were some drops for ears and eyes that helped clear all impurities from there.
Apart from these massages there were some oils for nose and massage which helped to remove impurities from liver and gall balder. At the end of those fourteen days I had lost some weights but I felt much healthier than ever before. If it wasnt about Panoramic sea resort I wouldnt have known the good affects of Ayurvedic treatments. Now I have even started meditating and Yoga and much of disease have gone and others are reduced considerably.
