The destinations that appeared in the list included Iceland, Thailand, South Africa, India, apart from Bulgaria, Mexico, Kenya, Malaysia, London and Las Vegas.Iceland had its currency depreciating dramatically against the Pound and the US dollar making it an affordable short haul destination especially for Britons. Icelands national carrier Icelandair has also reported to have slashed their prices to attract more travellers.
Thailand was recently struck by months long political strife with most nations warning their citizens against travel to this country.
