Each page of your website must have a description that is at least 25-35 words in length. This is the short description that shows up in the search results that potential website visitors see. Each page on the website should have at least the H1 heading tag inserted. Too many keywords within the content can have a detrimental effect on how the search engines view the content. Too many uses of your keywords will appear unnatural and therefore not as relevant and useful. It's more important to simply provide the minimum of 2-5% keyword density so that the content matches the designated keyword tags.
7)Spider Access
Every website should have a robots.txt file that is found by the search engine spiders so they know which pages to crawl and which ones you do not want crawled. Not every page you create should be included especially password protected pages, download pages or other pages which just dilute the overall relevancy of your website.
8)Navigation
Not only is navigation important for the users of your website, the search engine spiders and overall SEO is enhanced by having links from each page to all other pages of the site. Page rank distribution and indexing relies upon well organized navigation.
9)Page Uniqueness
Search engines don't just treat your entire website as a single entity. What ranks are individual pages, so make each page unique as mentioned in page content/page keywords above and don't use the same keywords for all of your web pages. If the search engines determine that due to poor optimization, your pages are all the same, they will treat all of the pages as one page leaving you without the ranking you are trying to achieve by creating useful and relevant content.
10)Site map
A site map is often used on a webpage to help visitors see an overall listing of the page contents of the website with direct links for each page all from the site map. This is very useful for larger sites which are hard to navigate and would be too cumbersome to provide direct links to all pages wherever the website visitors may navigate to.
