Then yet one more cost factor that can run up your final bill is the rent on the operating room and equipment, if the doctor that you have performing the operation doesn't have access to his or her own facilities. Understand that just because a person has a license to practice medicine and is qualified to perform a breast implant procedure doesn't mean that they have the facilities to do it. So in many cases the actual place where the operation is performed has to be rented.
Then after all is said and done, and you're home recovering there will be some post-operation visits to the doctor when things like the stitches will be taken out and bandages changed. Or if there's any type of complications the post-operation visits can obviously go on even further. Now nothing is free in life, so of course you will receive a bill for any post-op visits and procedures that have to be performed.
So in summary here, what you end up paying for your breast implants can be affected greatly by other procedures that may or may not come along with them. So it's up to you when talking to your doctor during the initial consultation that you when you're discussing the issue with your doctor that you come to a clear understanding with regards to what will and will not be included in the bill.
