Ho Chi Minh City, also called Saigon, is the largest city in Vietnam

You do not necessarily have to use a menu, as you may simply point at what another customer is eating if you would like to have the same type of dish. There are just a few seafood dishes that are costly, with many of them being quite cheap.

There are many interesting places that you can visit in Saigon. Apart from this, the city offers some of the best shopping opportunities you will find anywhere. You need to sharpen your bargaining skills in order to get the most out of your money. The only places where you can't bargain as much are the main tourist shops. As a general rule, you can buy whatever does not have a price tag at about two thirds of the price you are initially told. If you know how to spot special items, you are bound to have a great shopping experience here.
