T-mobile Uk And Orange Uk To Form Largest Mobile Phone Network

In a move that was to stun the UK mobile phone market

, T-Mobile UK and Orange UK have submitted plans to complete a merger that would see the duo became the nation's largest mobile network.

An agreement was negotiated between the owner of Orange UK, France Telecom and T-Mobile UK leader, Deutsche Telekom with the merger expected to engulf 37% of the UK market for mobile telephony. It will dwarf the coverage of Telefonica O2 managed currently receiving a 27% share of the UK network mobile phone.

The movement will be officially signed and sealed in November, with the duo promising to bring substantial benefits to its British customers. With more than 28 million customers using the service merged, it will be imperative to provide better network quality and improve customer service to meet demand.

This seems to be a positive step for Deutsche Telekom, which had already admitted he was struggling to gain more customers in the UK market phones. Meanwhile, France Telecom will probably see this as an opportunity to strengthen its position in the UK market without incurring more debt.

It was difficult for both Orange and T-Mobile to compete in the market with both O2 and Vodafone enjoying the exclusivity of the application in phones like the iPhone and the BlackBerry Storm. However, this approach should increase competition and provide the company to merge with a larger capacity for its customers.

However, it was decided that the Orange and T-Mobile will remain separate for the first 18 months, while re-branding is reviewed.

How the likes of Vodafone and O2 react to these changes remains to be seen. Yet the potential of new mobile network mergers could mean bad news for UK consumers, as businesses inch ever closer to monopolizing the UK market.

The return of merger agreements also suggests that there is light at the end of the financial tunnel, with the world of the company once again in a position to negotiate and negotiate.
