Players Who Buy The Digital Version Of Diablo Iii
For safety reasons and to ensure the integrity of the game and the auction house service
, we need players who buy the digital version of Diablo III, wait until the confirmation of payment has been completed before they can use certain game functions (see list below). Payments are normally made within one day and confirmed these restrictions lifted, however, this process can take sometimes up to 72 hours.As with World of Warcraft these restrictions have been introduced to prevent credit card fraud, which in turn helps to reduce gold spam and other malicious activities that can have a negative impact on the game fun for all players.
An unintended side effect of these security measures is that players who purchase the digital version of the game after patch 1.0.3, temporarily only play up to level 13 and not act out I can. To prevent any misunderstandings, we want to make clear that these restrictions are temporary (and often within a day, but at least be suspended within 72 hours), only when you buy the digital version to come into force and serve to protect the players.
