If you're looking for help for a child who is struggling to learn to read, then look no further than an online phonics reading program. For those who aren't familiar with "phonics", it is a teaching method for English speakers enabling them to read and spell. Basically it teaches how to associate single letters or groups of letters with sounds used in spoken English. At the end of the lesson a report on each element appears on the screen which can be printed out for future reference. This is a good mechanism for understanding what the child is struggling with and what comes more easily.
