The 2010 NFL season has finally kicked off, and teams are out to prove they are worthy for a spot in the post season
. Many of the games during Week One offered much for fans and analysts to dissect, but some teams have more to deal with that simple game strategy tweaks for Week Two. Some teams lost star players for the entire 2010 season and will now have to refigure their roster because of the losses. NFL tickets are a chance to see top players live, unless they are part of the list below of players who will be out for the whole season.Green Bay Packers: Running Back Ryan Grant and Defensive Tackle Justin Harrell- Grant is perhaps the biggest loss for the Packers. Grant suffered a right ankle injury during the Packers' Week One game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Grant has been a top contributor for the Packers since he joined the team in 2007. Last season, he started every game and had 1,253 rushing yards and 11 rushing touchdowns. Harrell has been with the team since he joined the league in 2007 as the Packers' first-round draft pick. He has been plagued with injuries since and missed the entire 2009 season. To fill the roster spots, the Packers signed running back Dimitri Nance and defensive end Jarius Wynn.
Philadelphia Eagles: Center Jamaal Jackson and Fullback Leonard Weaver - In their game against the Packers, the Eagles didn't walk away unscathed, either. They lost Jackson because of a torn triceps and Weaver injured his ACL. Jackson has been the starting center for the Eagles since 2005 and will be replaced by Mike McGlynn in the lineup. Weaver has been a standout fullback for the Eagles. Last season, he had 323 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns along with 140 receiving yards and two receiving touchdowns.
Seattle Seahawks: Guard Max Unger - The Seattle Seahawks lost Unger because of a toe injury suffered during the Seahawks' opener against the San Francisco 49ers. Unger has been with the team since he was drafted by the Seahawks in the second round of the 2009 NFL Draft. He started every game in 2009. Even Dietrich-Smith is behind Unger on the depth chart, and the Seahawks also re-signed guard Mansfield Wrotto.
New York Jets: Defensive Tackle Kris Jenkins - Kris Jenkins missed the better part of the 2009 season because of an ACL injury. The 2010 season was supposed to be a comeback year, but he suffered another ACL tear during Week One play against the Baltimore Ravens. Jenkins is in his third year with the Jets and also had a long career with the Carolina Panthers.
Houston Texans: Defensive End Connor Barwin - Barwin dislocated his ankle during the Texans' opener against the Indianapolis Colts. The 2010 is his second in the league and with the Texans. The Texans signed two defensive ends, Ryan Denney and Adewale Ogunleye, to replace him.
Chicago Bears: Linebacker Hunter Hillenmeyer - Last year the Bears struggled with injuries to their linebacker corps, and Hillenmeyer stepped up as a key replacement. He suffered a concussion during the Bears' opener against the Lions, and the Bears conservatively put him on injured reserve.
