Myob As Your Ecommerce Interface

Myob As Your Ecommerce Interface

MYOB and Australian businesses go hand in hand

. Being extensively used by businesses who deal with products and services of all kinds, MYOB became the main tool for managing SME.

What's also important, accountants love it. It's rigid and secure, and that's what makes MYOB so attractive to keep your accounts in, but at the same time MYOB data base is closed and tough to work with. That is why MYOB integration with eCommerce platforms is not an easy job. Therefore, Internet and MYOB set apart for a while.

And here we are, almost two decades since the first online shipping experiences came our way. I am lucky enough to be X gen so I can say - what a journey it was! I love online shopping, I love how markets create themselves, I love to watch what's ebay developing and what other means of customer service are out there. But most of all I love smart data-base. And a creative one.

Credits to online shop history veterans such as Intershop, Amazon and eBay, they can proudly stand by their experiences now.

Surely we can say that online shops and Internet presence is basic of any contemporary business identity.

But the problem of integrating MYOB with eCommerce brings many layers and array of questions to be answered:

Issues such as, getting orders directly into MYOB, customer identifiers determining shopper groups and pricing, weights and volumes entered in MYOB and integrated into eParcel for automated shipping processing.

M2J has been pondering, poking and trying various approaches to this issues and it worked out that its best to keep controls in MYOB, as much as possible. And I could not agree more.

Saving hours every single day is now possible by eliminating double data entry and correcting typing errors.

You decided to sell a new product range. After you enter the relevant information in MYOB, with one click all new products would appear on your website.

When a customer creates an account on the website, the same data is transferred automatically into MYOB and a customer card is created. Also, an online purchase from the website is automatically processed in MYOB as an order, changes the stock level in MYOB and publishes it back on to the website. You can simply walk away and use your time for extra marketing.

Because having MYOB and website to run is already time consuming for every business, integrating these two systems sounds like a dream.
