Let me be honest up front. I have been a fan of Mark Ling's for over 3 years. I was about to give up on affiliate marketing after a year of frustrating and expensive efforts to make my on line business profitable when I heard Mark Ling speak. How I originally got on his webinar I can't even really remember. I think maybe it was through my connection with Anik Singhal and PPC Classroom. In any event, I was immediately impressed with Mark's no hype style, his years of proven results and his willingness and enthusiasm to share what he knew with anyone interested. Without charging any money. Sure, he has products he sells, but there is enough information and training videos available on his Affilorama website for free to get anyone started with affiliate marketing. He has produced some great productivity tools that he also gives away. Traffic Travis is a keyword, SEO analysis and campaign tracking tool that is available free and more robust and plain useful than many I have paid good money for in the past. You should be using it. I started using some of his solid, common sense strategies he shared on the call right away and the results were significant, and enough to renew my faith that affiliate marketing wasn't some kind of scam where the only people making money were those selling products to other people trying to make money.

OK - so all that by way of introduction to say that Mark Ling is the real deal. He is the "everyman" who has build a solid empire primarily selling Clickbank information products. When he has a new product out, I listen and investigate. So with Affilojetpack soon being relaunched I got inside the product and here is my honest feedback.

What Is Affilojetpack?

Affilojetpack is a product that works on the proven strategy of building a squeeze page (a page where someone enters their e-mail to get free information) in a profitable niche in order to build a subscriber list. A list to whom you can eventually sell products related to their niche. The Affilojetpack provides everything you need to get started. It includes your choice of 5 out of 10 niches. For each one you select you receive a Wordpress template that you can customize, but still easily get up and running in minutes. You receive free hosting of that website. You receive 20 high quality articles for content on your site, free ebooks on your chosen niche so that you have something to give away, and also one year's worth of follow up e-mails.

Who Is It Best For?

If you feel overwhelmed by the technical aspects of building a website, an opt-in form, putting out writing jobs to bid and so on, then Affilojetpack could be a great solution for you. Nothing out there is a "magic money button", it will still require effort on your behalf to get your sites up and running. But many of the stumbling blocks will have been eliminated. Also, the niches that Mark Link has selected and written content for are all proven, profitable niches where he has been making a lot of money himself. When getting started, I wasted so much time, money and energy on niches that seemed like they would clean up (tattoos, anyone? Traffic a plenty, nothing converts). Using his niches will save you money and heartache.

Affilojetpack is also good for affiliate marketers who have a moderate success, but understand it is going to be far more lucrative to have a a long term relationship with a buying audience than it is to go to all the effort to get traffic, have them visit your site, maybe buy, maybe not, then never interact with them again. If you have been struggling with trying to get an opt-in form and subscriber list up and running, then Affilojetpack could also be your solution.

Is Affilojetpack Worth The Money?

If you use it, yes it's worth every penny and is in fact an amazing value. If you don't, well then don't waste your money. I know that sounds crazy but I have plenty of products myself that I bought and didn't fully commit myself to. It's easy in this business to get distracted by the "new shiny toy" and get rich quick scheme that the next guy is pushing. This is not going to get you rich quick and it is going to require effort.

If you do the math on the hosting, the website building and the content for the site alone and you will recognize that Affilojetpack is a steal of a deal. Even if you outsource oversees you won't get a decent article these days under $10. Here you get about 100 (5 niches times 20 articles). The quality of the articles and the follow up e-mails is in fact very high for this type of product, they are not just rehashed PLR articles we see over and over. But even so, to be successful in this industry you need to have a value added relationship with your subscribers. For that you need a voice, and you will have to rewrite many of the e-mails slightly so they don't sound too generic. And you have to track down a variety of products to market in that niche or you run the risk of just sounding like a scratched record. This is not the type of business strategy for promoting one ebook, no matter how much you love it.

The Downside

The downside to Affilojetpack and these type of products is that you might not be that passionate about the niches. Plenty of people are making money with skin care products and dig training. But you have to commit to this like anything else. I purchased a very similar product in the past and to be honest I paid way more money for it. It was a decent product and I did get up and running and profitable quickly. But it nothing is completely "auto pilot", it did require some daily maintenance to get traffic to the sites and because I did not care for the niches, I quickly got distracted. This type of product can give you vast experience in the mechanics of making money, though. Then you could take what you learn and apply it to something you are passionate about.
