Is it Possible to Retire at 25?
Lately, I have wondered if someone could retire at the early age of 25 if that person had a very good residual source of income. Obviously, that person would need a very good residual source of income - much better than someone who retires at 35 or 45, as retiring at 25 means many, many decades of income. Nevertheless, is it possible to retire at 25 and live the rest of your life with little to no work?
I am not quite 25 yet, but I have thought about what I could do to be in a possible that I could retire at 25 (I have a little less than two years to retire at 25, in this hypothetical). I have begun my internet marketing "career" and with the powers of the internet, it may be possible that if I can get many articles to the top of the search engines and people to buy my products, that I may very well be able to "retire" in a year.
Do I want to retire? No, not really. I would like to be able to have the freedom of someone much older than I with the money of someone who has worked for decades. With this world of the internet, someone now has the ability to make as much as a Fortune 500 executive without ever leaving his or her own home. There are many people who have started out small now making well into six figures per year, and they are not burning the midnight oil.
With a career like an affiliate marketer, the person has the ability to start a career which has a very high earnings potential, without a great deal of effort required once the business is established. I do not expect to make enough money during the next few months to be able to retire, but I know many people who have made enough in a year or two of work that they are nearly set for life. Especially if you can sell subscribers which occur every month. Instead of $20 per sale, $20 per month that a person subscribes to what you are selling!
Is it possible to retire at 25? I think that it could very well be possible. It would probably be easier to retire at 35 or 45 than 25, but with only working a few hours per day, at the most, once you "retire" you can make you life look like a retirees with all of the free time. Depending upon how your business is set, you may be able to completely retire once you are 25. So, who wants to join me?
